We were living in Alaska when Dan decided to teach himself how to code. We turned our guest room CLOSET into his office. I wish I was kidding. We eventually moved into a bigger house where he had an office (and another job at the time). He learned a lot and after about three years decided to start his own company. We packed up our life in Alaska and moved to Florida for him to pursue this dream. I found a great teaching job and we bought a house with an office out back for him to work from. We call it his lab. I watched him and dreamed of the day that I could start something similar (requiring way less brain power). I wanted to have the same flexible schedule that he had. The 2020-2021 school year was really tough on me. I taught virtual 1st grade, which was REALLY stressful and not very fulfilling. We decided that now is the time for me to pursue something different.
